~ Some new Designs ~

Hello howdy G'day :-)

I have been designing like crazy over the last week and would like to introduce you to some of our latest.

First up we have a lovely Jeans and Top set in some nice earthy tones. This colour combination I was a little dubious about at first but as you can see it matches beautifully. The belt and sequinned applique set this simple outfit off.

Next I have done a replica of a dress I own in real life. I bought this over christmas 08 and was delighted with the virtual result :-) I have called it J'Adore as quite simply, I adore it :-)

The following outfit was made by request. A customer contacted us and asked us to make something a little different to what we normally design. That being simply *sexy showing the most amount of flesh (but not all)* :-0

Normally we try to keep our designs a little more on the modest side and as close to what people would normally wear in Real life. We have found that most of our customers appreciate that as they have a connection with they're avatars that make them a duplicate of themselves from Real Life into Second Life.

But anyway, we took the challenge and thought it could not hurt to have something more adventurous in our range but we compromised a little and did two versions of the outfit. The shorter skirt set is what we felt our customer was looking for but the longer was added at our will with the top made in a version with some transparency but also enough that it feels it covers a little more :-0

Of course this whole pack can be mixed and matched in any way the wearer see's fit. Stockings, Panties and a garter compliment the shorter version.

Last of all we added 2 more Jeans outfits in two colour sets.
The sets include 2 versions of the Jeans to wear, full length or capri style (with Prim cuffs)
These are refreshing two tone colours that are perfect for the upcoming spring.

Our new Free Gift of the week!

Hello :-)
Our free gift is up and running :-)
This week we are offering a nice top with Jeans. The top had some lovely 3D folds making it look very realistic. Its one of my favourite colours, a nice earthy beige and the top comes in two lengths, so wear the shorter one if you would like to show off the nice studded belt that is on the Jeans.

This can be found at our Australia Day display and is available until Monday 12th January after which it will be placed at normal sale price.

Australia Day Celebrations :-)

Hello everyone

Australia Day is coming up here (January 26) It is a big day in Aussieland for us and we have a Public Holiday. The highlight of the day is that each city in Australia holds a massive Fireworks display once the sun sets. Here in Perth it is held on the Swan River and there are many vantage points from all around the river.

Kings Park, The Esplanade and the South Perth foreshore are the favoured spots. Thousands and thousands of city dwellers turn out for this, many starting in the early hours of the morning to secure a good viewing spot and to enjoy a fun family picnic day.

A little bit of history on Australia Day (compliments of wikipedia :-))

Australia Day, also known as Anniversary Day, Foundation Day and Invasion Day, is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on 26 January, the day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788, marking the start of British colonisation of Australia. Australia Day is an official public holiday in every state and territory of Australia, and is marked by the Order of Australia and Australian of the Year awards, along with an address from the Prime Minister.
Records of the celebration of Australia Day date back to 1808, with Governor Lachlan Macquarie having held the first official celebration of Australia Day in 1818. In 2004, an estimated 7.5 million people attended Australia Day celebrations and functions across the country.

Australia Day is often seen as controversial by historians of English humanity. Victorians have long argued that Discovery Day, which used to be held on April 19, should have interceded Anzac Day rather than merged with the anniversary of (national) government. Some Indigenous Australians see it as a political celebration and have protested 'Invasion Day' and the destruction of their cultures by British colonialism since 1988.

So here at G&N Quality Design of course, our display has to be very Australian :-)

~Some more New Designs~

Well we have been busy here at G&N Quality Design. As it is now summer here in Australia I have a need to design summery outfits especially as we came out of a prolonged and abnormally cooler winter :-0 Even now it is unusually cooler than normal for this time of year but hey, I am not really complaining as when summer really arrives I am sure it will with a vengeance! So keeping in mind the most of the world is into they're Winter months now I am still accomodating that with my designs so you will find a mixture of all seasons in our shop and dont forget..in SL the weather can be whatever we choose :-)

Daily Free gift for the next 24 days in December :-)

Hello Everyone
Hope you are all keeping well :-)
Over the next 24 days we have an advent calendar situated at the free gift area. Every day a new window will be activated to open and present you with a gift. No group tag is needed as this is available to anyone. So starting at midday SL time on the 1st of December you can come and get your 1st free gift, then everyday after midnight the next window will open with a new gift. This will be in place of our usual weekly free gift for the 3 weeks.
